Our program runs year round with new students accepted anytime throughout the year (if space allows).  Class availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PROGRESSIVE INSTRUCTION

Our student/teacher ratio is approximately eight students to a teacher at a time.  We have found this ideal and at many times, especially in our pre-school classes, we have a smaller ratio.  In each class, students are separated into groups based on age and/or ability.  Pre-school and One Hour classes are open for observation.  We have a bleacher area that seats up to 150 people.  We have several sets of equipment which allows for faster learning rather than waiting in a line for a turn on one piece of apparatus.

LOCATION

We are located right in downtown Pottsville.  Our address is 206-210 N. Centre Street and we are located on top of the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and across the street from Coney Island.  Our entrance is located on the far left of the building.  There is plenty of parking with the Capital Parking Deck directly behind our building.

ATTIRE

Girls preferably should wear a gymnastic leotard.  Boys may wear t-shirts and shorts or a warm-up suit.  No gum or jewelry is allowed and hair should be out of face.  A ponytail is required for girls with long hair.  Leotards- and other apparel- are available for purchase at Pottsville GTC.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

All class students are required to pay a yearly membership/registration fee of $23.00.  This membership also entitles bearer to secondary accident insurance while under supervised training at Pottsville GTC.  Membership fees must be paid at your child's first class.  All fees are non-refundable.

CLASS FEES

Class fees are paid on a monthly basis and are due the first class of each month.  Payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $5.00 late fee for class participants and $10.00 for team participants.  All payments are non-refundable.  When two or more family members are enrolled, there will be a 10% discount given on the second (or more) child's monthly fee.  Monthly fees remain the same each month.  There is no additional charge for months with 5 classes so there is no discount given when there are only three classes in the month.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

If your child misses a class, they can get a make-up day by calling the gym to schedule a make-up.  No credit is given for missed classes. 

REFUNDS

Pottsville GTC does not give refunds.  When you register for a class, you are reserving a space in that particular class that could be other-wise filled by someone else. 

RETURNED CHECKS

Checks returned for any reason (insufficient funds, closed accounts, etc..)  will be charged a $25.00 fee.  Failure to make good on a returned check will require action taken by local authorities.
