Pottsville GTC offers a cheerleading program for all ages and ability. With the ever increasing popularity of cheerleading and the demand for more and more tumbling, it is essential for cheerleaders to get a strong background in tumbling.

CHEERNASTIC CLASSES

Whether you are a beginner or you are already a cheerleader or you want to try out for your school's cheerleading squad, we have a class for you. Emphasis is put on tumbling but the students can also learn and perfect arm motion technique, proper posture, jumps and kicks and more. All of this in a class from some of the best instructors who are or have been champion cheerleaders, exceptional gymnasts or outstanding tumbling coaches.

Squads and individuals from around Schuylkill County and beyond have benefit from Pottsville GTC's Cheernastic classes. Pottsville GTC offers weekly classes. We also offer group instruction for local schools. We have the most up-to-date equipment (spring floor and Tumbl Trak) which is an advantage in learning better technique and learning skills quickly.

Attention Area Cheerleading Squads

We are now taking reservations for school squads to use the PGTC facility to utlilize PGTC's facility including full-size (40 x 40) spring floor. There are two different options:

Use PGTC's facility to specifically use the spring floor to prepare for up-coming competitions

Have your squad take a class- specifically designed for your group.

ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING

Pottsville GTC started the first All-Star program in the area. Pottsville GTC's All-Star cheerleading squad consisted of the top cheerleaders in the area. All-Star teams travel to local, state and eventually national competitions.

In their first competitive season, the "Cheer Stars" Elite placed third at the Keystone State Championships and fourth at the Hershey Park Open.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PRIVATE LESSONS: Private lessons are available from any of our staff members. The lessons are 1/2 hour or hour in length and the hour class can be combined with another student. Prices range from $20 to $50.
