Welcome to the Pottsville Gymnastic Training Center!  Founded in 1986, Pottsville GTC is the area's leader in gymnastic instruction and has now been serving the area for 19 years.  We offer gymnastic instruction for girls and boys of all ages and abilities.  We have the most up to date and safest equipment in the area.  Our number one priority is our students and we strive everyday to make their gymnastic experience a fun and positive one!

Head Coaches, Owners and Directors of the Pottsville Gymnastic Training Center are Barbara Kost-Lonergan and Sandy Kost-Sterner.  

The Pottsville GTC program aims to build confidence through success.  We believe that small successes build confidence and that new-found confidence leads to bigger successes and an even high level of confidence.  Through this progressive "success-confidence-success" we help students understand how to set realistic goals and then achieve them.

Pottsville GTC is dedicated to the safety of all involved in our program.  Both Sandy and Barbara are professional members of the USA Gymnastic Federation, National Safety Certified and are CPR/First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross.  Our staff is comprised primarily of current and former Pottsville GTC team members who are passing on to area youth what they have learned through their years as a gymnast.  Staff members are continually bettering their skills by attending clinics and workshops.

Pottsville GTC is a member of the USA Gymnastic Federation, the USAIGC (United States Association of Independent Gymnastic Clubs) and the USECA (United States Elite Coaches Association).

Pottsville GTC has been recognized world-wide for their hosting of the Friendship Classic which has developed into the largest international invitational in the USA.  Pottsville GTC has traveled world-wide, having gymnasts represented in Russia, Poland, Canada, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Northern Ireland, the Bahamas and Germany.

Pottsville GTC's Competitive Team speaks for the center's numerous accomplishments and the capability for your child to become the best they can.  Pottsville GTC is home to state, regional and national champions and have attained international honors as well- the only facility in the county that can lay claim to these honors.  And most of these students started in our very own Recreational Class Program
